About this one
The gasket and the lens frame are moulded as one piece, so there is no glued seal to peel away after a season in salt. The lens is polycarbonate with a mirror coating on the outside and an anti fog treatment on the inside, and the strap splits so it holds on the crown as well as behind the ears.
The mirror is there for open water, where you swim into the sun for half of every out and back. Low profile means the lens sits close to the eye: it gives less peripheral view than a mask and it does not catch water when you turn your head to breathe.
They are not swim goggles for a pool wall. The gasket is soft and it will not take a hard push off, and the anti fog coating wears out: it lasts about a season of open water, and no goggle keeps it longer.
