Two swimmers, eight products, one moulder
We started by buying kit that leaked, losing a winter to it, and getting annoyed. Then we had our own made, and it turned into a shop.
It started with a goggle that leaked all winter
A pair of goggles, bought new, leaked from the third swim and kept leaking for a winter. The shop offered 20% off the next pair. We went to a moulder in Annecy instead, asked what a gasket that seals for a season costs to make, and got a number that was lower than we expected. Mareta is that conversation, repeated for a wetsuit, a towel, a cap, and four other things.
Three rules we keep
Where it is made is on the product page
Every item says where it comes from, the flask included: made in China, finished in Spain. An origin gets hidden when the price and the story do not agree.
We mend before we sell you another
Wetsuits and tow floats come back to the workshop for as long as we can source the parts. A repair is worse business than a new sale and better business than a customer who leaves.
Nothing here is filling a shelf
No keychain, no branded towel poncho, no ninth product invented to round out a shelf. Eight products means eight we swim in ourselves.
Where we are
8 products in the catalogue, 2 people, and one shared workshop, 96% of orders shipped within 48 hours.
That is the whole shop
Eight products, and a person at the other end of the address if one of them lets you down.
