About this one
A 7 mm urethane cord moulded onto two stainless swivels, a 38 mm rail saver, and an ankle cuff lined with neoprene that closes on a wide hook and loop panel. It is the part that fails first on most boards, so it is the part we overbuild.
Six feet is the length for a board up to 7 ft. On a longboard, take the 9 ft one instead: a short leash on a long board pulls the tail around and wears the cord out in a season.
It is not a competition leash. The cord is thicker than a 5 mm one and it drags a little more in the water, and we would rather replace a leash that wore out than one that snapped.
